Feeding the Hungry

As you know, I am the pastor of Wildflowers Christian Outreach Ministry. Every Friday we have a food bank that feeds around 120 families of four. All of our workers including myself are volunteers. Since the first day the church opened the doors, it has not paid out one cent of pay. We are 501 3c nonprofit and we have never had a payroll. Every dine that comes in as offerings or donations, come in one door and out the other. We use every cent to buy food and drinks for all the hungry people. All of it. We have normal bills, gas for our truck, we pay for the food we get, we average around $1200 of bills a month and $300 to $400 dollars to pay for the food every week. But we are able to get a miracle because God is always there and the money is here to pay for everything.
That is a bunch of money every week and every month, for a 25 member and growing church. God is our saviour and through him this church thrives. Since April 2011, we have had 78 heeling's, praise God.
If God can do that for  a small church like ours, just think what he can do with our government. Stop pulling Gods name out of everything. Get the senators and congress where they have to be voted into office every time. They can not just sit up there and draw a check while not even going in half the time. LEAVE ( IN GOD WE TRUST ) ALONE. This is our country and we all need to take it back.

Rocky's Economic Warning 23 Years Ago - Still Ignored.

The following is quoted out of the Eureka Springs Times - Echo. The article consists of a paper written by myself in the spring of 1978 - over 33 years ago! Copies of it were forwarded at that time to every member of the Texas Congressional Delegation, President Jimmy Carter's economic advisers and to the President himself. Needless to say, it is apparent that the warnings outlined below were ignored!

" In January 1978, the President submitted to Congress his fiscal year 1979 budget proposal. It calls for federal expenditures of $500.2 billion for the year beginning 1 October 1978. This is the largest budget proposal in the history of the United States - a half trillion dollar spending plan. The budget did not include any new, fresh programs and was aimed mainly at curbing the growth of federal spending and nourishing the economy. The president called it a "restrained" program.
Despite the fact that the spending increase for the next fiscal year has been held to 8.2 percent, the Carter budget projects a deficit of $60.6 billion. When combined with the red ink in the current budget, the new figures mean that the administration is on its way to compiling the biggest back-to-back deficit in the nations history - $122.4 billion for fiscal years 1978 and 1979. A major reason for the huge shortfall in the President's plan is a $34 billion slash in individual and corporate taxes. The idea is to keep the economy from sliding off into another recession and to offset the current and projected increases in Social Security taxes. Regarding the huge over spending, White House advisers are of the opinion that high unemployment and a sluggish economy make it virtually impossible to eliminate large deficits in the budget.

What are these advisers saying? Are they saying that there is no hope in the immediate future for a "booming" economy and a balanced budget? Are they saying President Carter is conceding that a strong economy and viable economic growth cannot be achieved this year or in the immediate future? Are they saying that our only hope is to bide our time, and try to keep America out of a recession, while we wait for an economic "miracle" from above?

A number of knowledgeable citizens believe the answers to these questions are affirmative and that the goal of a balanced budget in fiscal year 1981 has been put aside, in favor of a policy calling for a balance only when developing strength in the economy allows. This approach is a mistake. it has the tail wagging the dog. A balanced budget and a viable economy can no longer be put aside waiting for a "future" unpredictable developing strength in the economy. America can no longer wait. the time for firm, hard, realistic choices, priorities and decisions has arrived. Positive actions, in our federal and in our economic sphere, must be taken immediately! Tomorrow is already here and it did not bring a miracle with it!

Where has American been and where is it going? If you are a student of ancient history, you may remember that 14 years ago, President Lyndon Johnson submitted a budget proposal of less than $100 billion. Last year the budget was $459.8 billion and this year it's over five times bigger than in 1964! The president's budget anticipates the 18th deficit in the last 19 years! This, coupled with the largest yearly trade deficit in our nations history (a staggering $26.7 billion in 1977), leads to only one conclusion. The U.S. economy is in "trouble" and with it the entire political, military, social and moral structure of this great nation!

One could say that this is an emotional and unrealistic statement - but is it? Its it unrealistic to say that the United States can not, year after year, increase it's national debt, perpetuate a huge foreign trade deficit, and fail to revitalize its economy, with out eventually spending itself into oblivion and bankruptcy? It is unrealistic to say that if this occurs - economic chaos will accompany it. Economic chaos is usually followed by massive unemployment, dwindling food supplies, famine, frustration and eventually violent revolution, anarchy and complete dissolution of the nation involved. Could this happen to the United States?"

Today's budget expenditures (over $1 trillion a year), yearly deficit ($150 to $200 billion) national debt (approaching $3 trillion), foreign trade deficit (more in a month now than it used to be in an entire year)-staggers the imagination and lead to the haunting conclusion - That we are living the good life on borrowed time!

Finally, It is gratifying to know that our government, experts, the President-elect, former Presidents, the Congress and Congressional and Executive Branch leaders realize that resolution of the deficit, trade and national debt problems are crucial to the economic health and welfare of this nation. But one must ask the obvious damaging question. Just where in the blazes have they been for 10 years? Why for 10 years have they willfully and with knowledge aforethought allowed this stupid problem to continue to grow? Now after years of neglecting this very real economic disaster, they are falling all over themselves trying to be the first in line to sound the alarm!

Why do we continually elect and send so many fools to Disney Land East on the Potomac? Surely, we can do better next time.

Federal Judges need to be elected by the people.

The following article is from my column "Rocky's Road" published in The Star Progress newspaper. This particular article was written in September 1988.

ROCKY'S ROAD

Well, those federal "unelected" judges are at it again busy subverting and destroying the very constitution that - when approved as federal judges - they swore to uphold, defined and protect.

Imbued in the United States Constitution, in the Constitution of all 50 states and as a major part of our democratic political heritage, is the paragon principle that no legislative decisions can be made, nor taxes levied, collected and spent unless the legislative acts and the taxes collected and spent are the result of an uncoerced, freely made decision of elected representatives  (legislative and executive) responsible to the citizens who placed them into office! These elected representatives can be a local school board, a city council, a Quorum Court or members of national or state executive and legislative branches of government. It is both a sacred doctrine and principle of our government as well as an unalterable obligation of our separation of powers rights that our elected executive and legislative members of government perform and make certain independent separation of powers decisions - that are denied to the unelected Judicial Branch.

These "free will" decisions must be made with a clear conscience and without unconstitutionally illegal and unlawful coercion, duress and threats. Either our elected representatives (granted, exclusive legislative and taxing powers), are unaware of their expressed Constitutional powers, obligations and responsibilities or they are so in awe of the courts that they are too timid to fight back.

Collectively, federal Judges have illegally threatened and forced elected school boards (many against their will), to appropriate and spend billions of dollars across this blessed land to buy, equip, maintain, fuel, man and use thousands upon thousands of before not needed school buses - and for what? So that our children can be treated like stock yard animals and driven about an hour (one way) across town - so they can sit next to their neighbor in a classroom "quota sized" by rich dictatorial men - unelected and protected from the ballot box - who probably send their own children to private school! They are thus implying that elected school boards and parents with dependent children, and the children themselves, do not have the right, under the constitution to decide which public school ( tax payer-supported lest we forget) to attend. Yet on the other hand, federal judges have ruled before, and again last month, that a state law that required parental notification by doctors before they performed an abortion on unmarried girls, under age 18, is unconstitutional because it infringed on the constitutional rights of young girls. What about the constitutional rights of the parents? What about the constitutional rights of the unborn child?

Federal and state laws, passed by elected representatives of the people, outline the duties, responsibilities and obligations of parental-child relationships. This relationship is an exclusive elected representative domain - it is not the playground of federal judges until the law is broken by either child of parent. When it is, and only then, the judges' responsibilities are to uphold the law - not subvert it. In both of the above decisions, the courts have not. only illegally crossed over the separation of powers and invaded exclusive legislative prerogatives, but the two decisions regarding childrens' rights are totally inconsistent.

It is bad enough that both decisions are wrong, but you would think federal judges would understand enough about constitutional principles to at least be consistent!

It could be argued, that more and more a case is being made for federal judgeship's to be filled by lawyers who also are political scientists and constitutional scholars. It is long over due for two actions to be taken. First, it is time that the "elected" members of our federal government remove the judicial branch from having any illegal say in executive-legislative areas. It may come as a surprise to many but Congress and the president have always had this authority in accordance with Article 1, Section 7 and Article III Section 2 of our Constitution and they should use it. Thence after, any federal judge usurping legislative and or executive powers wound be rightly subject to impeachment and removal from the bench. Second, the original main reason for having federal judges exempt from the voters' choice (basically to place them above the political battles) has long since been prostituted by the judges themselves.

It is long over due that a constitutional amendment be enacted requiring all federal judges to be elected by the citizens. If it's good enough for state judges to be elected , it certainly should be good enough for our "lacking" in constitutional knowledge federal judges - and the sooner we do it the better!
Lest we forget...as one who had the quiet privilege to occasionally be in the presence of Russell Strough, I was consistently awed by his magnificent grace and optimism in the face of such towering adversity.
For those of us who cower in the dark shadows of our minds and are pale and trembling before the altar of countless worries - his presence magnified the insignificance of our make believe problems.

Four Point Whitely Economic Plan

The following offers some proposed solutions (S) to our economic problems (P). These listed solutions can be accomplished if all Americans, (Congress, business leaders, corporations, etc.) will cooperate and work together and take the required actions necessary.

1.      (P)     A huge unchecked negative balance of trade with our trading partners, especially China.

         (S)     We need to consider implementing a policy to stop buying more goods from China than we sell to them . Secondly we need to work with and encourage every U.S. Company that has moved a manufacturing plant out of the U.S. to immediately build a replacement plant in the same previous U.S. location and manufacture products formerly imported from China. This could provide hundreds of thousands of new jobs and greatly improve our balance of trade. Also, we need to encourage the world to buy American products. Products build right by a nation that has always practiced sound quality control.

2.     (P)     Continual Yearly deficit spending and a huge national debt.

        (S)     We need a balanced budget amendment that protects social security and retirement benefits plus wipes out the National Debt Fund (NDF). To support this fund, we need to eliminate all capital gains takes below a realistic thresholds and place a 2% transaction fee on every share of stock sold in our national markets - with this 2% fee going into the (NDF). This transaction fee could bring in over 500 billion dollars yearly from an untapped resource. Additionally, encourage tax payers to make a voluntary gift to the fund on their yearly tax return. Also, require every former elected official to donate all left over campaign contributions to the (NDF). Currently they are allowed to keep them. Why?

3.     (P)     All four branches of the military service have their own separate bases and conduct their own training. Each branch trains medics, soldiers, cooks, technicians, pilots, police, etc. There are excessive duplication in training, in equipment, in support services and facilities.

        (S)     Consolidate all military training into one unified training command. Benefits include elimination of duplication in training, equipment and support and closing of unneeded bases. After all, our four military services fight as an integrated unified command. They should also train as one. How much our mammoth military spending could be reduced - 5% or 10%? A ten percent reduction could amount to about $55 billion dollars per year. Realistically, these billions could be better used to counter the World's Doomsday weapon - the electromagnetic pulse (EMP) released from a nuclear bomb over our nation that could render all our electrical systems inoperable. A defense against this weapon must become our number one military priority. Perhaps the solution to this problem is to build and deploy height above our nation, powerful magnetic, metallic conductor satellites to draw the EMP energy up and away from the earth.

The United Nations nuclear agency announced on Thursday, February 18th 2010 that Iran has been doing studies on setting off explosions high in the atmosphere to identify the ideal altitudes for exploding warheads. Obviously they must be working on EMP weapons with our nation as their target.

4.      (P)    Many needless lives are lost and billions are wasted needlessly every few years from excessive flood damages in our Northern mid-western and southern states.

         (S)     Build a series of canals and dams from the Mississippi and other Midwest rivers to Idaho, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas,Oklahoma, west Texas, New Mexico, etc. We can create beautiful, flourishing green belts along the way and in these states build numerous water sources, power plants, lakes, new towns, new industries, in addition to opening up millions of untapped acres of new farm land. It would put hundreds of thousands of Americans to work and it would not cost as much as our overseas wars. The future return on our investment could be astronomical. If we had these canals last year there would have been no floods in North Dakota, and no drought in Northern Texas - that killed a large number of livestock. We have a Corp of Engineers that could have a flood elimination plan ready to go in no time. This plan could be expanded to cover other vulnerable areas in the U.S.A and hopefully stop other preventable flood tragedies.

A Proposed Tea Party National Economic Plan

Tea Party Revolution Supporters,

Please take a moment and review the proposed plan below. Please pass on to other supporters. I recommend we unite to elect leaders who will love the God of the Holy Bible, love freedom, love our country and who will fight for leaders who will get off the Dance Floor and meet our nations challenges head on - leaders who will support the proposed Tea Party Economic Plan.

Thank you and God bless you.

Fixing Our National Problems:

Current reports say that, if we continue our current course, our national debt will be out of sight and that half of every budget will have to be used to pay our interest payments. If you want to review an economic paper that I authored in 1978, you will find that I predicted our horrible current economic situation 31 years ago. I take no pride in that, and I wish I had been totally in error.

Accordingly, please read my attached short Economic Plan. It will only take five minutes. I have been attempting since September 23, 2008 just to get someone to really read it and do something about it, Obviously I've been unsuccessful thus far.

Here is what my economic plan is capable of doing.

1.   It will greatly improve our trade and balance of payments with other nations. Despite the fact the plan will put heavy competition on China, they should realize  the necessity of it in order to safe guard their 800 billion investments in our national debt - plus we must end this one sided trade mess with China.

2.   It will significantly reduce our national debt and provide for yearly balanced budgets.

3.   Reduce our military spending, while improving our training programs while freeing up funds to counter America's REAL number one military threat - the Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Weapon.

4. Provide America with many new Hydro-electric power plants, hundreds of thousands acres of new farm land and numerous, unlimited future financial resources. In addition to Jobs, Jobs, Jobs and a solution to the recent concern about a possible future U.S. water shortage.

5. It will provide thousands upon thousands of jobs refurbishing previously closed factories and rehiring previously laid off workers. It will put new life into hundreds of cities and areas revitalized by new industry and the building of canals, dams, electricity producing projects, etc. etc. as well as opening thousands of acres of new previously untapped farm land. it also should make the Labor Unions very happy. The will support it! According to our president in October 2009, we had the highest unemployment rate in 26 years with 15.1 million people out of work. This plan will fix this problem and if all the environmentalists really want to go GREEN - They should love this.

Sincerely and respectable,

Our Usurped Untouchable Citizens Rights

Federal Judges have no understanding of what our founding fathers intended when they wrote "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, etc., etc." Constitutional Writers intended the First Amendments Five Freedoms ( Religion, Speech, Press, Assembly and Petition ) to be Untouchable Citizen's Rights.

This is made obvious by the Constitutional restriction places on our Only Authorized Federal Law making Institution. The Framers NEVER EXPECTED UNELECTED judges to legislate in areas UNTOUCHABLE by Congress and UNTOUCHABLE by the executive.

It is also obvious that our Constitution contains another UNTOUCHABLE doctrine - one continually violated - the Separation of Powers.

It is incomprehensible that over the years Congress has never ended these illegal violations by the Judiciary of the Constitution.

Article 3,  Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution empowers the Congress with the EXCLUSIVE authority to remove the Federal Judiciary's illegal meddling regarding the Constitution's Five Untouchable Citizen's Rights. America must end the ACLU and the Federal Courts constant illegal assault on out Blessed Religious freedoms, our Christian bible and our ten commandments.

I urge every God fearing and country loving American to demand that Congress take immediate action to secure our Untouchable First Amendment Rights.

Rocky's Road

Welcome to Rocky's Road to Political Realities!

My daughter and son in law will be helping me update my blog until I get with the times and buy a computer (and learn how to navigate it)

I hope to bring political insight through this blog. I have many ideas that are worth being shared, and worth being implemented. My first official political post should be up and running sometime tomorrow, check back for more.

 God Bless!
